300 Hour Yoga teacher training course is structured to blossom your personal and professional yoga education as a Yoga teacher and practitioner.

Sammasati Retreat’s 34 days 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training course is intended to strengthen your already existing knowledge and foundation of Yoga. This course will focus on Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, Partner, Yin Yoga, therapeutic yoga, technical training and advanced asana practice. Besides, students will obtain in-depth knowledge of advanced pranayama techniques, meditation practices, structural anatomy, philosophy, and will have an opportunity to teach and assist with hands-on adjustments during the asana classes. This training Includes 100-hour – Yin Yoga and Yognidra Teacher Training.

Prerequisite – Graduates of 200 Hour Yoga Teachers from Yoga Alliance registered school.

  • 6:30 – 9:00 am – Pranayama, Meditation and Asana Practice
  • 9:00 – 10:30 am – Breakfast
  • 10:30 am – 1:00 pm – Yoga Philosophy Lectures
  • 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm – Lunch Break
  • 2:30 – 5:30 pm – Workshops/Anatomy/Physiology/Asana Class
  • 7:00 – 7:40 pm – Dinner
  • 8:00 – 9:30 pm – Evening activities three times a week, Meditation/lectures/Spiritual movie. Sunday off.

300 Hour Training Syllabus

Asanas: Practicing and exploring asanas of Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, Partner and Yin Yoga with alignment principles. Practice includes of Pavanmuktasana series, Suryanamaskar, Chandranamaskar, Seated, forward bends, twists, abdominal, backbend, inversion, arm balancing, headstand. Practicing asanas twice a day will make everybody healthier and flexible.

Advanced Pranayama Practice: Breath is the most vital process of the physical body, having a deep connection with our body, mind, and emotions. Pranayama techniques expand the breath opening the door to physical, mental, emotional health and inner transformation. Regular Practice of Pranayama will increase the wellbeing.

Essential Ayurveda: The purpose of Ayurveda is to maintain good health and prevent disease through a process of identifying your physical and mental constitution and adopting diet and lifestyle accordingly.

Yogic Diet: and there is an immense amount of theories and studies to aid us in following a proper diet. A vegetarian diet is most suitable for Yoga and meditation to keep Yogic lifestyle.

Yoga Philosophy: Yoga Philosophy will include its origin, aim, and tradition; history of Yoga and it’s evolution, various yoga styles focused on specific goals. Lectures include Hathayogpradipika, Yoga Sutras of Patanjali Upanishads and Bhagavadgita.

Shatkriyas (Yogic Detox): In Yoga, there is a process of internal cleaning of the body called Shatkriyas. The benefits of Yogic purification rejuvenate the body, makes it lighter and healthier. The practice of Shankapraksalana, a detox of the lower digestive tract with a 10-day specific diet.

Mudras and Bandhas: Introduction and teaching practice of Tattva, Pranic and advanced mudras in conjunction with the daily meditative practices. Learning to use three bandhas Moola, Udiyana, Jalandhara, and Mahabandha. Bandhas improve the effectiveness of asanas and breathing practices and helps to awaken purify and awaken the chakras.

Practicing Meditations: In this training practice of daily meditation will establish the peace in mind and will open the heart. Easy to understand lectures on what is meditation? How to meditate? Useful meditation techniques will be introduced to establish meditation and awareness in daily life.

Yoga Nidra: Yoga Nidra takes into deep relaxation, releasing the tension from the body and mind. The teacher instructs or plays the audio track for Yognidra.

Mantra Chanting: Sound has an insignificant effect on our body, mind, and emotions. Chanting specific mantras can create positive energy and healing vibrations.

Human Physical Anatomy: The following body systems will be studied: digestive, lymphatic, endocrine, skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, reproductive, and nervous. Additionally, tension and compression theory relating to the joint and muscular movements in various asanas will be explored.

Physiology of Yoga:
Understanding and exploring seven Chakras and Kundalini energy. Yoga meditation practices to purify and awaken the chakras.
Three Nadis: Nadis are energy flows in the body. Discussed in their relation to chakras, asanas, and Pranayama practices.
Five Koshas: Koshas are the five layers of the body according to Yoga science. Through Yogic practices, one can reach to the deeper layers of the body.
Seven Chakras: Charactoristic of seven chakras, their location, beej mantras and effect on the body, mind and emotions. Chakras are door to sprituality.

Teaching Methodology: Topic covers hands-on adjustments in asana classes, assisting the students with alignments and modifications. Teaching Asana, pranayama, meditation classes for beginners to advanced level. The multiple teaching practice sessions will make the aspiring teachers more confident to share their newly acquired knowledge.
